AURA is my first photography book and a reflection of my deep love for ocean pools — both as a photographer and as a swimmer.

People often ask why I keep photographing ocean pools. For me, they are an escape — a sanctuary — where I feel most grounded. Each image in AURA captures that personal connection. The pools I photograph are the same ones I love to swim in.
This collection brings together photographs made over the past seven years during regular visits to ocean pools along the NSW coastline. Each has its own aura — shaped by its design, its visitors, the changing light, and the moods of the seasons.
